TAF Rural Solutions was founded by Tom Fisher in 2006 - a business that has grown from a small equestrian fencing and maintenance provider to a full agricultural fending and equestrian fencing service covering Cambridgeshire and the bordering counties.

Tom grew up helping out at his grandfathers farm from a young age, always wanting to be outside in the countryside.  At the age of 16 he enrolled on a three year National Diploma in Agruculture course at Shuttleworth Agricultural College in Bedfordshire, before starting his

working life on a large agricultural farm & contracting company based on Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border.

 

This valuable experience ranged from driving a combine harvester during the summer months, agricultural cultivation & drilling, 

crop spraying and machinery maintenance, fencing field boundaries to protect the crops from rabbits.

 

After a few years working on the farm Tom moved on to work for a machinery dealer, staying in the agricultural sector, starting

as a customer care representative, demonstrating machinery and setting up new tractors for customers.

 

With a passion for the countryside and countryside pursuits, valuable experience under his belt and a dream of setting up his

own business, Tom was a natural fit for the agricultural and equestrian sectors and created TAF Rural Solutions providing a

professional agricultural and equestrian fencing service.

 

Tom continues to further develop his skills and networking with huge pride in his work which can be seen from his project

portfolio.  His networking skills have led to many new contracts offering the best solutions for his customers.
